My first taste of fashion week - thanks to the wonderful Martha, I was able to attend the Jaeger show at Sommerset House. Gracing the front row were the 'Saturdays' donning blazers and stripes, sitting next to an immaculate and tiny Rachel Stevens, a tall and moody Peaches Geldoff and Callum Best. Further along the row sat none other than Joe Mcelderry, looking very bored in a suit tucked in to lace up boots!
The show was beautiful, and as it was my first catwalk show I was totally in awe of the whole atmosphere aswell as the clothes. I loved all of the gorgeous coats, moments of fur, skinny black trousers, black velvet, the odd sparkles and various 60s prints. The general colour pallet was very chic and the prints had a very vintage feel. My favourite outfit was a dress with a cream, blouse-like printed top and velvet skirt - definitely on my wish list.
What a great day it was, especially taking very up close pictures of the Saturdays on their blackberries after the show, and collecting free Grazia magazines in different languages! All of the fashionistas around me looked amazing, and I spotted alot of parkas, barbers and leather trousers amongst the audience. The whole event really inspired me and made me very excited for the future, as I hope to attend many more fashion weeks dans l'avenir. G x

Just saw the movie 'valentines day', not a very exciting plot, but sweet and enjoyable. Taylor Swift made a very annoying appearance and I have completely gone off her altogether, Emma Roberts on the other hand is my new style crush, she looks amazing blonde, brunette, dark, and her Auntie is none other than Julia Roberts. Jealous much. G x

I discovered these in this month's Teen Vogue, and have become a slightly obsessed with Vita Fede. These wrap around bracelets come in so many colours, with various different shaped studs and chains, and they are pretty and edgy at the same time. Perfect to edge up jeans or accessorise with a dress. They range between $50 and $150 dollars, so I guess I'll jsut stick with my studded urban outfitters bracelet, and drool over the website pictures. G x

Really not ready for anything summery quite yet, I'm still happy slipping into a jumper and jeans for the time being. However, Topshop's spring/summer wardrobe is quite exciting - very English countryside and festival chic. Of course florals are going to be very big again, as is white and cream lace, following the nude colour scheme this spring. This is all toughened up with studs, leather, parkas, biker jackets and lace up boots.
Another of Topshop's looks is 'saloon' - think country western meets the 1920s, frills, tassels, embroidery, leather accessories, lots of denim and canvas boots. Must say, havn't been such a huge fan of this season's lace bodies, a bit too revealing for my liking, and crop tops need to be worn with high waisted skirts, unless its summer - mid drifts really aren't necessary.
